Postcards from Taipei (Day 6 & 7 of 8)
Flower Market 花卉市場
#jenguoflowermarket
I am surrounded by bougainvillea flowers, sold by a vendor among a hundred, more or less. This multi-block flower market is sheltered under an elevated roadway, and open on weekends only. There is also an adjacent weekend Jade Market.

We climbed to the ridge-top of Elephant Mountain. He could not resist, and climbed onto a boulder-top and pose for a photo shoot.

This sofa is constructed from a pink enameled bathtub, by cutting away the long side of bathtub. Quite comfortable to site on! Style is nice Blend of industrial art and mid-century modern.
Chinese Herbal Remedy 中醫草藥
#scratchysorethroatsucks
The chocolate flesh of this fruit is a natural analgesic, and used to make throat lozenges. Let a cube sit in your tongue, and feel a cool licorice-taste sooth your throat. I like it better than Ricola.
