Happiness is... (Day 3 & 4 of 8)

Happiness is ...
sitting with my daughter

and sharing a meal.

Good fortune is ...
lunch at Din Tai Fung, for hardly a wait.

xiao long bao = small cage dumpling

Food was amazing, service impeccable.

True blessing is ...
being together for eight straight days.

This post is written in rememberance of two people that passed away in the week before my Taipei trip - a maternal aunt and a paternal cousin.

I am reminded of the gift of life. And, happiness and gratitude.

RIP Aunt J. A life of joy, struggles and resilience.

RIP Cousin F.  A life truly well lived. He remains cherished and vital part of his family.
